研究目的:探討一位憂鬱病患之罹病經驗與婆媳關係的運作變化。研究方法:採質性研究法,以深度訪談法瞭解一位處於婆媳互動壓力的成年女性憂鬱症病患的主觀知覺,徵詢同意後於2006年1-6月共六次個別訪談,將錄音資料謄寫為逐字稿,進行內容分析。研究結果:歸納五項罹病經驗與婆媳關係類別:難奈縳束的安身宿命、心傷失婚的婆媳糾葛、尊婆抑己的使命困境、乍知罹病的變換境遇、婆媳情愁的轉折體悟。病患的憂鬱病症與社會規範影響、性格特質、角色衝突及遭遇創傷事件有關。研究結論:婆媳衝突突顯出具像的憂鬱病徵,但憂鬱徵象卻能使患者重新省思生命經驗,重新了解自己、找到新生並與婆婆適切相處。本研究結果可提供心理衛生專業瞭解女性憂鬱患者罹病的心理社會脈絡,並擴大對女性心理健康、家庭角色關係及婚姻諮商的介入處置。
英文摘要:
Purpose: The study was aimed to explore the dynamic of disease experiences and the relation of mother and daughter-in-law from the patient's perspectives. Methods: A qualitative approach and in-depth interview used to be aware of the subjective perception from a depressed woman, who had undergone stress resulting from her relationship with mother-in-law. The informed consent was obtained after the rapport was established. The taped, semi-structured interviews were carried out from January to June 2006. Six individual interviews were transcribed as verbatim and coded in textual analysis. Results: Five categories emerged: Difficulty to endure but have to be bound the fatalistic life; Entanglement over the past marriage resulting from former mother and daughter-in-law relation; Compelling herself the tight spot once again with daughter-in-law role; Facing the converted situation for being abruptly informed of depression; and Becoming aware of the affections turning point toward mother-in-law relation. Every category was supported by 3 themes. Patient's depression episodes are connected with social norms, personal characteristics, role conflicts and the traumatic events. Conclusions: The mother and daughters-in-law conflict intensified the existing manifestation of depression, it could bring the patients embodied experiences which allow them to gain new insight into her mind, regain a new life opportunity, and improve her relationship with her mother-in-law. Results of this study import information for mental health professionals to understand the psychosocial context among depressed women, as well as to provided interventions on women mental health, family role relation and marriage counseling.
