本研究係以臺北市八所大學心理輔導中心為研究對象，採用檔案收集法與個別人員訪視法，探討各 輔導中心的組織、功能、工作範疇、人員互動情形，以為加强大學生輔導工作的參考，並探討推廣校區心理衛生工作實際的需要。
結果發現：(1)輔導中心在學校行政編制複雜，隸屬關係不清楚，因此造成學校大環境中地位曖昧。(2)輔導中心目前工作重點，多偏重在次級預防，對象以學生為主，但已有擴張包括全校師生教職員的構想，與加强初級預防工作的計畫。(3)輔導人員工作量重，在有限人力、物力下，工作效能尚能充分發揮。但需要有計畫的活動設計、運用資源，以期充分發展功能。(4)輔導人員對校園資源運用欠理想，校外 資源也不足，輔導中心與大環境的溝通有待加强。
雖然僅是現況描述，但是已可肯定輔導中心對推廣校區心理衛生工作之重要性與其意義，推展校區 心理衛生工作需改善或配合的幾個方向。
英文摘要:
In order to enhance the function the function of university campus mental health, as well as to discover the needs in developing more of the campus mental health programs, eight university mental health centers in Taipei area have been studied. Through the archive collection and personnel interview, the report here emphasizes on tne organizational structure, functions, service areas, and the interaction with other resources.
