本研究以社區中精神病患家屬(175人)與相關人員(包括衛生所護士194人、警察104人以及村里幹事180人)為研究對象，藉由結構式問卷探討其對精神衛生法強制護送鑑定與住院治療相關規定的態度，藉此提供評估的依據，並作為未來修法的參考。研究結果發現，並畫家屬和相關人員對於強制住院的態度相近。
英文摘要:
By using a structured questionaire, 194 public nurses, 104 local police-men, 180 meighborhood workers, and 175 families of the mentally ill were surveyed for their attitudes toward compulsory assessment and involuntary admission listed in the Mental Health Act which was enacted in 1990.Data were collected throuth mail for the former three groups while the later group was interviewed.
